Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.
All people from 0 to 100 need to be renewed, comforted and challenged in their lives of faith. The United Church of Hinesburg fosters learning through involvement and educational programming where faith is made real in living and practical ways. Bring your experiences and understandings and share them with the rest of us.
Using contemporary curriculum that speaks to faith in the 21st century our Sunday School programs invite questioning and exploration. Nursery is also provided for children 4 and younger.
On the fourth Sunday of every month Practicing God-talk explores issues in daily life and the wider society in the setting of faith. Through reading and conversation individuals find ways to think, talk and explore today's most important subjects. Additionally adults have other opportunities during the year to attend conferences, workshops and retreats sponsored by the church or one of our three historic denominations.
Our Learn More page is regularly updated with weekly Scripture readings from the Revised Common Lectionary, Daily Life Apps written by Rev. Wayne Schwab, Chair of the Spiritual Formation committee, and links to online articles to explore in greater detail.
