We believe the resources we consume — from the soil to grow our vegetables, to the minerals we mine for our electronics, to the power it takes to charge our phones — are of value not because they are useful to us, but because God created them. That's why we have chosen to make small and large changes — installing solar panels, keeping bees, using cloth napkins and table cloths during coffee hour, and reducing power use.
BeekeepingThe church currently maintains two beehives that help to pollinate local flowers, vegetable gardens, fruit trees and crops. Extra honey from these hives are often used as gifts.

Engaging with creationYoung people grades 1-5 engage different aspects of environmental stewardship from conservation to composting during week-long evening summer camps at the church.

Reducing our Carbon FootprintGuided by a recent energy audit, we have insulated our three buildings, switched to energy efficient appliances, updated windows and installed two solar trackers.

Celebrating NatureWe are fortunate to live so close to the land and participate in the wide range of Vermont seasons. Through May Poles, Plant Sales, Harvest Festivals and Apple Picking, we celebrate all that nature brings to our lives.
